Will I receive any more information after I have made a booking?
Immediately after booking you will receive a confirmation email or letter. There will be a medical information form in this email/letter that we ask you to fill in and bring to day one registration.
Will you provide lunch for my child?
No. There are 2 options on this front -you can either send your child with a packed lunch or you can pre-order a lunch for your child from the golf club each day. We will email you the menu a week before the start of an Academy starting.
What if my child doesn’t have/her own golf clubs?
Please inform us of this during the booking process and then we will organise for your child to use clubs throughout the 3 days.
Will my child be in a group with golfers of his/her ability?
Yes, that is why we ask you about your child’s ability on the booking form. We can also make necessary adjustments during the first day.
If I want to know how my child is getting on at an academy, what do I do?
Any parent can ring our head office on 0115 973 1676 to make this enquiry. The office will then immediately contact our staff on site. Our office will then be able to report back to the parent.
What should my child wear?
Each child should wear clothing appropriate clothing for golf, including some wet weather alternatives. Every child should have 2 pairs of footwear, one for the course and one for clubhouse. Please ensure your child also brings sun cream.
Will you provide drinks and snacks?
Yes, however you are welcome to send your child with their own.

Your child will be supervised in these hours by our staff and will be able to watch a golfing DVD, do a golfing quiz or putt on the practise greens. However these are not coaching hours.
Where do you recruit your coaches from?
All our coaches will have been recruited from your local area. They will all be qualified professionals and will have attended various in-house meetings with ourselves in order that they are prepared to provide an excellent golfing experience for your child.
